  • ●Depending on the type of camera and eyepiece, illumination fall-off and shadows may occur at the peripheries
  • ●Noise in the form of lines may appear in pictures depending on the shooting condition
  • ●Because the optical system characteristics differ from those of ordinary interchangeable lenses, the exposure level may vary depending on the camera model; use exposure compensation if necessary
  • ●Camera's autofocusing mode cannot be used. Perform focusing using the Fieldscope focusing ring.
  • ●The actual F-number and the focal length vary depending on your choice of combination of Fieldscope and eyepiece, while the camera display and image data show the constant F-number (6.3) and focal length (540mm)

Calculation of composite focal length

[Composite focal length] = [Magnification of eyepiece] x [Focal length of DSA-N1 (18mm)]
(35mm format equivalent focal length is 2.7x of the composite focal length)

<Examples>
[540mm] = [30x] x [18mm]
(In this case, the 35mm format equivalent focal length is 540mm x 2.7=1,458mm)

Calculation of composite F-number (theoretical value)

[Composite F-number] = [Magnification of eyepiece] x [Focal length of DSA-N1 (18mm)] ÷ Objective diameter of Fieldscope
