Exposure Mode: Mode A (Aperture-Priority Auto)

You choose the aperture and let the camera automatically adjust shutter speed for optimal exposure. Use to control background blur.

Wide aperture (f/1.4)
Small aperture (f/5.6)

Procedure

01. To determine how the camera sets shutter speed and aperture when adjusting exposure, press the MODE button and rotate the main command dial until the desired option appears in the control panel.
02. To choose an aperture between the minimum and maximum values for the lens, rotate the sub-command dial while the exposure meters are on. Aperture can be locked at the selected setting.
