Dim Interiors
You may sometimes want to photograph a dimly-lit interior using natural light. This can be done by raising ISO sensitivity. You may think that this would result in "grainy" photos, but in fact much progress has been made in reducing "noise" (randomly-spaced bright pixels and fog) in photos taken at high ISO sensitivities.
One interesting way of bringing out that night-time feel is white balance. Deliberately selecting “Cloudy” for indoor lighting emphasizes reds for warmer colors.
