NIKKOR Z 26mm f/2.8
Others
Overview
- The slimmest*1 and lightest*2 body that is ideal for those who constantly look for inspirations and carry their mirrorless camera with them every day.
- *1Among full-frame/FX-format AF lenses for mirrorless cameras, available as of February 7, 2023. Statement based on Nikon research.
- *2Among NIKKOR Z lenses available as of February 7, 2023.
- The adoption of an all-element focusing system contributes to reduction of space inside the lens barrel, realizing the slimmest body of approx. 23.5 mm/1 in.
- The versatile 26-mm focal length covers a broad spectrum of scenes and subjects, from cityscapes to tabletop photos.
- When mounted on an APS-C size/DX-format camera, the focal length becomes 39 mm-equivalent, providing the angle of view closer to that of the standard lens, expanding the range of scenes.
- The three aspherical lens elements compensate lens aberrations effectively, maintaining the high optical performance of NIKKOR Z.
- The short minimum focus distance of 0.2 m/0.66 ft enables users to approach a subject more boldly with excellent rendering performance, achieving impressive images.
- With the maximum aperture of f/2.8, sharp images with minimal noise can be obtained even in low-light situations without increasing ISO sensitivity, ensuring reliable hand-held shooting.
- An STM (stepping motor) in the AF mechanism ensures outstandingly fast and accurate operation.
- The lens design has been further enhanced to realize a solid form and sharp proportions. The adoption of metal parts and components projects a sophisticated look, and its stepped shape emphasizes the slimness of the lens barrel, thereby matching any of Nikon's mirrorless camera models.
- Supplied with a specially designed lens hood for enhanced operability while maintaining the thinness, which also supports attachment of 52-mm filters. A slip-on lens cap that can be attached to either the lens itself or the lens hood is also supplied.
- The body is designed carefully considering dust- and drip-resistant performance*, allowing users to take it anywhere without concern.
- *Thorough dust- and drip-resistance is not guaranteed in all situations or under all conditions.
