Scene Auto Selector: Close-up

For close-ups of flowers, select auto mode. The camera will automatically switch to close-up mode when you get close to the subject.

White balance: Auto

White balance: Incandescent

One trick photographers use is to deliberately choose a white balance setting that does not match current shooting conditions. For example, choosing "Incandescent" when shooting in sunlight will produce "cold", blue-tinted images.
