Release Mode

Release mode controls what happens when the shutter is released.

Single frame:
The camera takes one photograph each time the shutter-release button is pressed all the way down.

Continuous low speed:
The camera takes photographs at a slow rate while the shutter-release button is pressed all the way down.

Continuous high speed:
The camera takes photographs at a high rate while the shutter-release button is pressed all the way down.

Quiet shutter-release:
As for single frame, but quieter.

Self-timer:
Take pictures with the self-timer.

Mirror up:
Minimize blur caused by camera shake.

Procedure

01. To choose a release mode, rotate the release mode dial to the desired setting.

- Single frame
- Continuous low speed
- Continuous high speed
- Quiet shutter-release
- Self-timer
- Mirror up
