Viewing Movies


Movies are indicated by a Movie icon in full-frame playback.

1: Length
Press the center of the multi selector to start playback; your current position is indicated by the movie progress bar.

Pause playback.


Resume playback when movie is paused or during rewind/advance.

Speed increases with each press, from 2× to 4× to 8× to 16×; keep pressed to skip to beginning or end of movie (first frame is indicated by the first frame icon in top right corner of monitor, last frame by the last frame icon).

If playback is paused, movie rewinds or advances one frame at a time; keep pressed for continuous rewind or advance.
Skip 10 s:

Rotate the main command dial one stop to skip ahead or back 10 s.
Skip ahead/back:

Rotate the sub-command dial to skip to next or previous index, or to skip to the last or first frame if the movie contains no indices.
Adjust volume:

Press Playback zoom in button to increase volume, Thumbnail/playback zoom out button to decrease.
Trim movie:

Press the i button to display the "Edit movie" menu when movie is paused.

Exit to full-frame playback.
Return to shooting mode:

Press the shutter-release button halfway to exit to shooting mode.
