Exposure Mode: Shutter-Priority Auto (Mode S)

You choose the shutter speed and let the camera automatically adjust aperture for optimal exposure. Use to emphasize motion.

Faster shutter speed (1/100 s)
Slow shutter speed (1/13 s)

Procedure

01. Press the mode dial lock release and rotate the mode dial to S.

02. To choose a shutter speed, rotate the main command dial while the exposure meters are on. Shutter speed can be set to “x200” or to values between 30 s and 1/4,000 s.
