Tatsushi Nishioka

1^st Designing Section, Designing Department, NIKON VISION CO., LTD.

Since joining Nikon, Mr. Nishioka has devoted himself mainly to design work for astronomical telescopes and development of astronomical observation equipment. As an advocator of the WX series binoculars, he put together this project and took charge of mechanical design.

Image quality is astonishing, but can it be productised?

Satoshi Fukumoto

4^th Optical Designing Section, 1^st Designing Department, Optical Engineering Division, NIKON CORPORATION

Mr. Fukumoto was in charge of optical design, and turned Mr. Nishioka's concept into a design for a functional prototype model. He has a wealth of experience in optical design including binoculars, and has also been in charge of designing astronomical eyepieces with a super-wide field of view.

Katsunori Tomita

Mr. Tomita took charge of optical design from the stage of prototype manufacturing. He was involved in mass-production design, and completed the WX series after much effort and hard work. His background lies in designing space- and astronomy-related equipment including optical observation equipment for satellites and astronomical telescopes.
