At the event, Nikon will showcase its full line of digital SLR cameras, from the top-of-the-line D2Xs, the award-winning D200 and the recently-launched D80, to the popular D70s and D50. Nikon will also introduce its latest COOLPIX compact digital camera series; COOLPIX S10, COOLPIX S9, COOLPIX S7c, COOLPIX L6 and COOLPIX L5. Each camera has unique characteristics and cutting-edge features, such as built-in Wi-Fi with COOLPIX CONNECT, Vibration Reduction (VR), Face-Priority Auto Focus, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, and D-Lighting. In addition, at Photokina 2006, the latest Nikkor lens, the AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED, AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED and the new software product Capture NX will be introduced. Other products that comprise Nikon's total imaging systems, such as Speedlights and system accessories, will also be presented. The number of companies exhibiting at Photokina 2004 totaled 1,589, and more than 160,000 visitors from as many as 128 countries and regions turned up to see the products they exhibited. Photokina has become a popular trading forum in international business and a meeting place for professional photographers, camera distributors and buyers, as well as creators and editors in the field of image processing.
