About photokina

The 28th photokina 2004 will be held at Köln Messe in Cologne, Germany, from September 28 to October 3, 2004. Held biennially since 1950, photokina has blossomed into a prestigious international exhibition of the latest camera, imaging technologies and products. photokina, such a popular event happening once in every two autumns, is one of the largest tradeshows in camera and imaging industry, along with PMA, which is held every spring in the U.S.A. The sheer number of companies exhibited at photokina 2002 counted 1,546 and attracted more than 160,000 visitors from as many as 136 countries and regions. photokina has become a popular trading forum in international business and meeting place for professional photographers, camera distributors and buyers, as well as creators in image processing and editors. Nikon is well known as a regular participant in photokina, and the Nikon booth and products have received very good responses from buyers, photographers and general users from Europe and many other parts of the world. Nikon booth at photokina 2002 was a huge success.
