"My Planet" category 3rd Title: Screamer Name: Steve Rosenberg Country: USA Shooting situations This image of the baby loggerhead turtle was photographed in the Northern Bahamas at the edge of the Gulf Stream. The shot was taken during the release of several baby turtles raised in captivity and released in the wild. Feelings towards this work and how it interprets "At the heart of the image" I interpreted this image as a baby turtle 'screaming' FREEDOM in joy as it was released into the ocean. At the heart of the image was just one effort to replenish the creatures that have been disappearing from the world's oceans at an alarming rate. Further comments I appreciate the opportunity to share my visions of the sea with fellow divers and all those who are not lucky enough to experience the wonders of the underwater world up close.
