Shooting situations

This photo was taken on the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador. These are volcanic islands in the middle of Pacific Ocean with very rare flora and fauna. This photo was taken when I was witnessing a very unusual fishing ritual. Hundreds of birds (Blue-footed boobies) were synchronously diving into the water to catch fish... It was a spectacular and very noisy performance with terrific speed. |

Feelings towards this work and how it interprets "At the heart of the image"

|
My Planet is a world full of mysteries, harmony and beauty.
Sometimes it can be funny, but sometimes it can resemble a strange and even frightening dream.
I was in the middle of surreal drama, where hundreds or maybe thousands of birds, as in the famous Hitchcock’s movie, were simultaneously falling down into the water and fiercely attacking. It was an unbelievable and once in a lifetime show, which left me speechless and I’ll never forget it. |

 |
| I've named this work "Fishing in Hitchcock's style" since it reminded me Alfred Hitchcock's famous movie "The Birds." |
