"My Planet" category 1st Title: Friends Name:Peter Allinson Country: USA Shooting situations This photo was taken three miles west off the coast of Dominica. The whale is a member of a pod of about 50 sperm whales that live there. His name is Scar. Andrew Armour has befriended the whale and is pictured with him. Feelings towards this work and how it interprets "At the heart of the image" The bond between the two friends is very evident from the whale's expression. Further comments I have been diving for many years and started taking underwater photos about 5 years ago. I hope that my pictures will help the marine environment.
