  • This application requires a computer with a pre-installed operating system.
  • If you use 64-bit version Windows 7 or 64-bit version Windows Vista, operation takes place under 32-bit compatibility environment.

Display, playback, and editing of still images and movies (MotionJPEG):
  • Intel Celeron / Pentium 4 / Core Series, 1.6GHz or above
Playback and editing of H.264 movies:
  • Pentium D 3.0GHz or above (during playback)
  • Core 2 Duo 2.6GHz or above (during editing)
RAM (Memory)
Windows 7 or Windows Vista: 1GB or above (1.5GB or above is recommended)
Windows XP: 512MB or above (1GB or above is recommended)

500MB or above for OS startup disk unit (1GB or above is recommended)

When transferring files
Interface:
  • USB: Only built-in USB ports supported.
  • Connect the camera directly to the computer; do not use a hub or USB keyboard.
Supported cameras:
  • USB: Nikon digital cameras that support MTP/PTP, PTP, or Mass Storage.
Supported formats
  • JPEG-format images (Exif 2.2 compliant)
  • RAW (NEF, NRW) and TIFF format images, movies, sounds and Image Dust Off data shot/created with Nikon digital cameras.
  • RAW (NEF, NRW), TIFF (RGB) and JPEG (RGB) format images and MOV, AVI, MPEG1 and WMV format movies saved with Nikon applications.
Others
  • An internet environment is required to use "Nikon Message Center 2", the [GeoTag] feature and my Picturetown.
  • The installation requires the CD-ROM drive on your PC.
  • To use all the functions, you need Google Earth Plug-in, QuickTime 7 (or later), and DirectX 9 (or later).
  • *For playback and editing of H.264 movies
  • A computer with a graphics board of 128MB or above installed is recommended.
