Picture Control System integrated with Nikon software

Nikon's optional Capture NX^* photofinishing software supports Picture Control adjustments, and can also be used to apply Picture Controls to NEF (RAW) files from cameras that do no support the Picture Control System. Save custom Picture Controls you create with Picture Control Utility to memory cards and use them with multiple camera bodies and software compatible with the Picture Control System, maximizing workflow efficiency and further expanding creative freedom. Nikon's ViewNX image management software, which is included with the D300, can also be used to change the Picture Control a NEF (RAW) image was shot with to another.
