According to a survey of compact digital camera users conducted by Nikon, the most common complaint regarding shooting throughout the world is the inability to capture beautiful photos in dark surroundings. After this, the most common complaints are regarding the inability to capture the intended, blur-free images due to slow camera response (shooting interval and time lag) and shooting environment. Nikon continues to work toward resolving these issues with comprehensive improvements in basic camera performance that reduce the blur that often increases noticeably with super-telephoto shooting. These efforts have resulted in the new COOLPIX S8000 and COOLPIX S6000, which offer a greater level of satisfaction with their ability to capture beautiful, once-in-a-lifetime photos.
